I am a biologist and I have been working as a scientist since 2010. Throughout my professional career as a neuroscientist, I have been able to carry out several research projects, gaining experience in different fields of this fascinating area. Currently, I’m a postdoctoral fellow at the Lourenco Team and I’m interested in mechanisms related to the regulation of protein synthesis in neural cells, specifically in the context of mood disorders and AD.

Bruno Cabral Braga, PhD

Bruno Cabral Braga, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

Passionate about science since childhood, I am currently dedicated to studying a range of molecular mechanisms associated with memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease. I aim to deepen the knowledge about this process, as well as to point out possible therapeutic targets.
